Rafters

Steel rafters are always used when the distance between columns and rafters in the frame extends over 5 metres.

The wooden rafters are impregnated, cut to size, and have pre-fabricated special joints that are capable to withstand compression and traction loads.

The amount of rafters, their strength, and installation frequency is dependent on wind and snow load zones as well as the slope of the roof and the actual roofing material.
